This eliminates the need to manually select each required column every time, saving you valuable time and effort.
Creating a New Column Set
- Accessing Column Sets:
- Navigate to the Admin tab and click on the Column Sets link located on the left side of the screen.
- Selection Process:
- Choose the entity (e.g., Individual, Organization, Transactions) for which you want to create a Column Set.
- Initiate Creation:
- Click on the "Add" link situated at the top under the main tabs.
- Naming Your Set:
- Give your Column Set a descriptive name for easy identification.
- Privacy Settings:
- Decide whether the Column Set should be private to your user account only or accessible to all user accounts.
- Customization Options:
- Select the columns you wish to include in this Column Set from the available pool of fields.
- Field Management:
- Easily add or remove fields from the "Fields Displayed" box using intuitive buttons.
- You can also adjust the order of fields or move multiple fields simultaneously for enhanced efficiency.
- Enhanced Options:
- Utilize features like adding notes or UDF fields with a "Memo" type to the second line for additional context.
- Finalization:
- Once satisfied with your selections, click Submit to save your Column Set.
