Step-by-Step Guide
- Access the Update UDF Tool: Navigate to the tab corresponding to the entity for which you need to update UDFs (e.g., Individual, Organization, PAC Organization, etc.).
- Search for Records: Perform a search to identify the records that require updating.
- Access the Update UDF Tool: From the results screen, click on "Tools" and select "Update UDF."
- Select the UDF: Choose the UDF that needs to be updated from the available options.
- Choose Action: Depending on the type of UDF field, select the appropriate action:
- For standard fields: Choose "Replace All With" to overwrite the existing value.
- For Pick List fields: Options include "Replace All With," "Append," or "Remove" based on the desired action.
- Enter Value: Enter or select the value you wish to update the UDF with.
- Submit Update: Click "Submit" to initiate the batch update process.
- Monitor Progress: A blue bar will indicate that the system is processing your request. The processing time depends on the number of records being updated.
- Review Confirmation: Upon completion, you will either receive a confirmation screen or return to the results screen.
