Introduction
This guide explains how to add a basic receipt for an individual in PAC Classic. Receipts can be associated with various entities such as Individuals, Vendors, Banks, State or Federal PACs, and Candidate Committees.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Navigate to the Transactions Tab
- Access the Transactions Tab from the main menu.
- Click "New Receipt"
- At the top of the page, select the "New Receipt" button.

- Select the Account Type
- Choose "Individual" or "PAC Organization."
- Note: For entities other than Individuals, such as Candidate Committees, Banks, or Vendors, select "PAC Organization."
- Search for the Entity
- Click the ellipsis button next to the Individual field to open the search window.
- Select the desired Individual from the list.
- Enter Transaction Details
- Provide the Amount and Date of the transaction.
- Review the Report Code
- The default code is "Contributions from Individuals (101)." This will vary depending on the selected Entity.

- Click "Submit" to save the transaction.
Post-Submission Actions
- Search, edit, or delete the saved transaction as needed.
